I'll never forget when I got the call to audition for this band. I had just graduated high school at the Academy of the Holy Angels in Richfield MN (11th, no less) and I was at a resort in Northern Mn. called Breezy Point, golfing with my childhood friend, Burt Ward. film the video for the first single, "Ice Cream Castles." It was 125 degrees, and we were in a castle with 100% wool suits on with no air conditioning! Then, the premier of the movie at Gramins Chinese Theater in Hollywood. I've never seen anything like it! This turned out to be the event of the year, and the music movie of the "80's"! I'm proud to be a part of it. While rehearsing for the movie, we had no idea that Morris and The Artist were fighting. After a year of rehearsing, 6 days a week, 8 hours a day for 1 gig at First Avenue in Mpls, MN, Morris decided to leave the band for a solo carreer.
